We are thrilled to introduce two new team members at East Suburban Pediatrics!
We are growing our family of providers so that we can serve you better. This allows us to have more appointments so you can easily schedule your well visits and sick visits when you want them.
Rachael Brozewicz, a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, joined East Suburban Pediatrics in January. She grew up in snowy Erie, PA before attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2011. She started working at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh as a nurse on a cardiac unit and loved caring for patients and their families during difficult times. Rachael also began classes at the University of Pittsburgh in 2011 and then graduated in 2014 with a Masters of Science in Nursing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
She then worked as nurse practitioner in the Observation unit at Children’s hospital and had a few different jobs within Children’s over the next 3 years. She most recently worked with Bone Marrow transplant patients before joining our team at East Suburban Pediatrics.
Rachael lives in Regent Square and loves spending time in Frick Park and at local restaurants. She enjoys kayaking, shopping, and hanging out with her family and 3 nieces.
Although Rachael enjoys all children of all ages, she has a particular passion for caring for teens and young adults as well as new babies and mothers.
Hannah Sahud, M.D. joins East Suburban Pediatrics this month. Dr. Sahud grew up in Indiana, Pennsylvania. She left for her education and returned to Western Pennsylvania when her first child was born in 2005. She attended Kenyon College, Chicago Medical School and completed her residency at Northwestern Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She has been Board Certified in Pediatrics since 2003.
She has been active in school health; having served as the medical advisor to several preschools and schools. Hand-in-hand with this are her commitments to childhood literacy and school accessibility.
When not at East Suburban Pediatrics, Dr. Sahud is usually with her kids, involved in an art project, building with Legos or reading. She never works in the office on election days, because she is an Election Judge in Pittsburgh.
