The COVID-19 crisis is posing many challenges for all of us. Many of us are juggling working from home while trying to balance our kids being home. It is critical that we all continue to practice social distancing to help combat the spread of this virus. Playdates are NOT okay right now!
So, how can we manage our work, parenting, and social needs? First, recognize that our kids will get caught up academically at some point, maybe later this year or even next. It’s not the end of the world. The tone we set, as parents and grandparents, during this time is what our kids will always remember. Keep a positive attitude and make the best of these difficult times. How often in our lives do we get to spend so much time together? Soon enough, we will all hopefully be back to our normal, chaotic lives and miss some of these family moments.
To help pass the time and continue some learning we have assembled a list of links that may be helpful distractions when stuck inside. Remember to take screen breaks, get outside, eat healthy, keep your routines, and wash your hands!
