As an independent practice East Suburban Pediatrics accepts several major health insurances, including most Highmark, UPMC, Aetna, United, Cigna, TriCare, and Medicaid plans.
Newborns
Your child will need to be added to your insurance policy as soon as possible after birth. Some policies automatically cover the child for 30 days after birth, but not all policies offer this. We recommend that you talk with your benefits coordinator or human resources department as soon as possible to see how your policy works and to begin the process of adding your baby to your policy.
Insurance
Our office staff will need to verify your insurance coverage for each scheduled appointment. Please bring a copy of your current Insurance card to each visit. If you have a change of insurance, it is your responsibility to inform the office staff of the change prior to your visit for a smoother office experience. For any questions you may have about your insurance coverage please contact your benefits carrier.
Co-payments
Your co-payment is due at the time of service. A $10.00 fee will be assessed for any co-payment that is not paid at the time of service. If you are unable to pay your co-payment, prior arrangements for payment must be made in advance of your visit. We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and Health Savings Accounts.
Self-Pay
If you do not have insurance for your child, payment in full is due at the time of the visit. Please call and speak with one of the front office staff if you have any questions.
Returned Checks
A $25.00 fee will be charged for all returned checks.
